Reliance Jio launched its most awaited 4G Jio feature phone called the JioPhone. The JioPhone launched with clever marketing strategy. It’s the effective price that is announced by Mukesh Ambani is Rs 0. You don’t have to pay anything for JioPhone, but you need to pay a security deposit of Rs 1,500 that will be 100 percent refundable after three years.
The Jio feature phone will be available for buy from the second week of September. But pre-booking will start from August 24. You have to pay the refundable security deposit of Rs 1,500 at the date of pre-booking.
Before buying the JioPhone, you must know some important facts about jioPhone. The security deposit of Rs. 1500 only refundable after three years and you must recharge JioPhone at least once in 90 days. By default, JioPhone buyers will become Jio Prime members.
JioPhone users will get unlimited voice calls, data and access to Jio apps for Rs 153 per month. Users may also opt any small sachets from two available sachets of Rs 24 with two-day validity and Rs 54 with one-week validity.
JioPhone also comes with a TV Cable that will allow users to connect their JioPhone to their existing smart TVs or CRT TVs to view live TV channels. For TV channel users have to opt the pack of Rs 309 per month.
The JioPhone supports voice assistant that can make calls, browse the internet and listen to music and more. It also supports the Hindi language for giving the voice command.
The device features a 2.4-inch QVGA display and it comes with SD card slot. The Reliance Jio feature Phone other features includes an alphanumeric keypad, microphone speaker, 4-way navigation, 22 Indian languages support, an FM radio, Torchlight, ringtones, phone contact, call history and more. The device also comes with JIo apps including Jio Music and more.
