The LG Q8 is the latest smartphone in its new Q series with a smaller screen, which has been launched in Italy. The highlighted feature of this smartphone is its secondary screen. It measures 149×71.9x8mm and weighs 146 grams.
The LG Q8 features a 5.2-inch QHD IPS LCD display with 1440×2560 pixels resolution, Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection and pixel density of 554ppi.
The smartphone comes with an “always-on” secondary display with a screen resolution of 160×1040 pixels. It runs on the company’s LG UX 5.0 based on Android 7.0 Nougat.
The LG Q8 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor with 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM. It comes with 32GB inbuilt storage which is expandable via microSD card.
The LG Q8 comes with dual camera setup at rear with a 13-megapixel sensor(f/1.8 aperture) and an 8-megapixel sensor (f/2.4 aperture). Its front facing camera is 5-megapixel with f/1.9 aperture.
LG Q8 comes with IP67 certification that makes it water resistant up to 1.5 metres for 30 minutes. It also comes with fingerprint sensor at the back. The device also comes with the infrared emitter and 32-bit quad DAC support.
The handset is fueled by a 3000mAh battery. Other features of the device include Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac dual-band, Bluetooth v4.2, and USB Type-C.
The price and availability of the device have not disclosed by the company till now.
