LG V30 has launched at IFA 2017 with features like Bang & Olufsen audio, voice recognition, MIL-STD 810G rating for durability, IP68 dust and water resistance and dual rear camera setup with f/1.6 aperture. Along with this model, the company also launched the LG V30+ handset with more storage. It measures 151.7×75.4×7.3mm and weighs 158 grams.
LG V30 features a 6-inch QHD+ OLED FullVision display with a resolution of 1440×2880 pixels, 538ppi and HDR10 support. The smartphone runs on Android 7.1.2 Nougat OS with upgraded UI – UX 6.0+.
The LG V30 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor with 4GB of LPDDR4x RAM. The smartphone comes with always-on display and Daydream compatibility.
The smartphone comes with 64GB inbuilt storage, while the LG V30+ variant has 128GB – with the option to expand it further via microSD card up to 2TB.
The LG V30 features a dual rear camera setup with one 16-megapixel sensor coupled with f/1.6 aperture, a 71-degree wide-angle lens, and one 13-megapixel sensor with a 120-degree wide-angle lens and an aperture of f/1.9. Its front camera is 5-megapixel with a 90-degrees wide-angle lens and an aperture of f/2.2.
The smartphone is powered by 3300mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0. Other features include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi (802.11a/b/g/n/ac), Bluetooth v5.0 with BLE, NFC, USB Type-C 2.0 support with compatibility for USB Type-C 3.1, water-and-dust resistant with IP68 certification, and fingerprint scanner. It comes in Aurora Black, Cloud Silver, Moroccan Blue, and Lavender Violet colour options.
The smartphone also comes with the B&O earphones with three digital filters to adjust output as per their preference. It also supports Master Quality Authenticated (MQA) technology for high-resolution audio streaming.
The LG V30 comes with “Ok, Google” voice activation that unlocks the device with your voice. The voice recognition will even work along with the music playback and it will be deeply integrated with the LG appliances that support voice-driven actions.
