Japanese automaker’s entry-level bike 2017 Kawasaki Ninja 300 has been launched in India. It has been priced at Rs 3.64 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). It is the cheapest Kawasaki you can buy in the sub-continent.
Talking about its features, it is very similar to the old model. Although the new bike launches with new color scheme and body graphics.
ABS has been introduced in the Global Market with an option but ABS has not been given in any of the models launched in India. The new 2017 Kawasaki Ninja 300 has a 296 cc liquid cooled, four-stroke engine that produces a magnificent torque of 38 bhp and 27 nm. There is a 6-speed gearbox in it for transmission and parallel-twin motor that pumps out 39 PS.
It was the first bike in the segment to get a slipper clutch which is now a common affair as bikes like the Dominar 400 too get it. The new bike follows the BS-IV emission norms. Talking of the breaks, it has a 290 mm single petal disc at the front and 220 mm petal distance in the rear.
